WHO WE ARE
The focus of Operation Good News presently is in India where poor hygiene kills 500,000 children each year. India has approximately 1.1 billion people. Approximately 250 million live on less than $1 per day, and another 700 million live on less than $2 per day. Two thirds of India's population lives in the rural areas mostly in villages. India has over 500,000 villages.

When you choose to sponsor a child you have chosen to help change a childs life. Poverty can be very devastating, and children in poor countries experience generations of the poverty cycle. You can help break this cycle by helping a child experience a better life. Mission
The Mission of Operation Good News (OGN) is to reach out to the world with God's message of love. Our primary message and purpose is to give people hope and to tell people all over the world that Jesus loves them and that they can have a better life. Included in this, is caring for the poor and those who suffer from lack of basic resources. We will make it known that God is kind, and because of His kindness we bring relief and hope, to the poor and suffering children, and people of the world. We will demonstrate the love and compassion for people, by providing food, shelter, clothing, education, and medical care to those in need, and provide assistance to people who are victims of natural disasters and poverty.
